This World Environment Day, LUMIN reaffirms its commitment to sustainable forest management, one that protects the environment, preserves biodiversity and supports the communities where we operate.

Throughout 2024, we took meaningful action which included conserving 2,150 hectares of native forest, advancing the La Pitanga LUMIN–Eucapine carbon capture project, monitoring local flora and fauna across our sites in northern and eastern Uruguay and actively participating in protected area committees. In addition, our commitment to responsible forestry is backed by independent assessments and certifications.

We believe that real growth is only possible if it’s carried out responsibly. That’s why we work every day to deliver sustainably managed forest products - from Uruguay to the world.
