Forestry Certifications
We certify the forest management of the plantations following the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council®, SGSCH-FM/COC-012049, (FSC-C162602) and with Chain of Custody certification, SGSCH-COC-006354 (FSC-C002169) to ensure our products are managed responsibly throughout the production chain, from the forest to delivery to our end consumer.
This certification provides third-party credibility for the responsible management of our forests and products. Our procurement policy prevents the purchase of wood products from controversial forest areas, or "risk forests", as defined in our procurement guidelines.

Effective since January 1, 2009, when the California Air Resources Board (CARB) began regulating formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products (particle board, MDF, and hardwood plywood) that are sold or used in finished products for sale in the state of California.
The Airborne Toxics Control Measure (ATCM) is known today as the “CARB rule.” All products, including resins used in the manufacture of composite wood products must comply with CARB regulations.
